Linda Woestendiek discovered stained glass more than 35 years ago when a friend offered to teach her the craft in exchange for help preparing for a show. She jumped at the opportunity—and quickly realized she’d found her creative calling.

For most of her career, Linda worked for the U.S. Department of Defense, devoting evenings and weekends to glasswork whenever she could. Now retired, she’s finally able to pursue her passion full time. After years of working from basements, garages, and spare rooms during countless moves, Linda has opened the doors to her dream studio and storefront right in historic downtown Hendersonville, NC.

At Glass Dragon Studio, Linda offers custom work, repairs, and an array of handcrafted pieces like suncatchers, boxes, and mosaics. She also teaches stained glass classes each month, sharing her knowledge and love for the art with new and returning students alike.
